Are you thinking of a bathroom conversion?
Look no further
This property in the west midlands is undertaking to gain a new bathroom by converting a bedroom and first floor cloakroom into a stunning new bathroom.

The owners were given a 2 week program of works by Home Interiors.
The project has started with the removal of all skirting boards and wall paper from the old bedroom.
The internal wall separating the bedroom and cloakroom was removed along with all ceramic tiles, WC & cistern and the small hand washing basin.

Water supplies feeding old sanitary ware terminated and all new services installed for bath, basin, enclosed cistern and floor level shower base.

Of course this new bathroom will have a very modern look with a two tier step leading to the bath all tiled using a natural slate material in 600mm x 300mm.
The wall hung WC and basin unit mean the tiled floor with under floor can be seen throughout and easily cleaned.
Home Interiors are currently one week into the project so look out as the story develops.

Well time for more information and pictures on this bathroom conversion.
End of week one and as you can see the wall is now down first fix plumbing all in place
All waste pipe work was installed under the floor level and of course all solvent welded to ensure no future leaks
Concealed cistern and support framework is now installed and the WC is now in operation.

600mm x 300mm Slate was fixed to a number of walls using cement based adhesive about 30 square meters with a further 17 meters to fix during week two.

What I really like about full bathroom fitting like this is you will not see a single inch of pipe work either waste or water supply once complete however there has gone some 36 meters of pipe and over 100 fittings to make this bathroom work
So as a reminder the old WC cloakroom has developed from this

To this

Upon viewing the next pictures you will see the above doorway leading to the old WC gone, however the old bedroom door will become the bathroom entrance.
The new bath will now be directly across the wall facing the door where the old bedroom radiator was possitioned

I look forward to adding the pictures of the bathroom complete later next week, hope you can re visit Tiling News to see the finished project.
